Nasa is to send the firts 3D printer to the international space station to help astronauts manufacture spare parts and tools. The space agency hopes to avoid emergencies such as the one that ocurred on Apollo 13 in 1970. Then, astronauts had to make their own carbon dioxide filter using a plastic bag and duct tape!
In my opinion this new is a big invention. Because is inovation of word. They are small inventions that eventually will be big changes for everyone.
